I have been beading since 1994. I started out with a little bead loom, but quickly dropped that to work in brick and peyote stitch. I began designing my own patterns in 2002-ish. I've had many bead patterns published in Bead and Button magazine as well as a few of their books.
My favorite designs are "Alaskan" and Native American. I tend to rush through my beadwork to get to the fringe. I LOVE adding fringes!

Before I had even started school my Granny patiently taught me how to crochet. I owe a lot of my creativity to her. She didn't mind my busy little hands rummaging through her yarn stash.
My girls also learned to crochet at a young age. I must say I'm never in need of potholders. They're attempts at making long, beautiful scarves usually end up just long enough to be used as potholders.

Here are some of my finished knit pieces. In Novemer of '08 I learned to knit, on youtube of all places! Knitting has always been difficult for me, but with all the helpful websites out there, I've got the hang of it. Hope you enjoy my pictures that I'm sharing!
